There’s this awful bug going around called new startitis and it’s highly contagious and very dangerous. I don’t have it myself, but it’s affecting me nonetheless as there are now two new starts in my July once a sweet innocent imp returns from her oh-so-enviable Mediterranean cruise. (*makes kissy faces at Kathie*)

So what are we SALing? First up, Passione Ricamo, a first for us both. Kathie will be stitching “The Night” and I will be stitching “The Queen of the Fairies” assuming I can make up my mind on what fabric I want to put her on. I had wanted to stitch her on a deep green, however, Fudgey bought up an excellent point that the fabric may show through and tint the lovely pale colors into something yucky. *whimpers and whines* I’ve always had loose tension, and as of late, it’s gotten even looser… so it may not be an issue, but I don’t want pale yellow and whites getting a green tint, so I’ll have to think on that one. *sigh*

The next project is Chatelaine’s Mystery X. Go ahead and say it… DOH! Kathie and I have been watching the progress of this since it began and then the kits went on sale at Needlecraft Corner and POOF! Out came the Visa. I’m now toying with the idea of using one of Passione Ricamo’s beige or cream linens for this, but I’m still thinking about it. I have this week to decide.

Does anyone else want to add any new starts to my July? *grins*

Mike, Kathie — have a super, wonderful fantabulous trip and take lots of pictures and eat lots of yummy foodstuffs so the rest of us can oooooo and aaaaaaaaah! I’m gonna miss you guys!
