So there I was, making fantastic progress on Nancy’s RR… I was over 200 perfect little Xs in when I noticed something in the stitched square above mine. Frantically, I grabbed the journal that accompanied her RR.
I smacked myself on the forehead.
I had stitched all of the Xs in the wrong direction!
*insert primal scream here*
I’ll unleash the frogs tomorrow. *grumblemuttergrump*
I told you reading was hard!

short haircuts…
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your weblog and wanted to say that I have truly enjoyed surfing around your blog posts. After all I’ll be subscribing to your rss feed and I hope you write again very soon!…
Oooops…know how you feel cause I am always changing my stitching direction on various projects…
Frog legs for supper tomorrow…that should scare them away now for good.
gentle hugs
I did that once on an RR. The person did their X’s opposite from me and I didn’t realize it (or read the instructions) until after I had finished. Since this was an RR where we each had our own section, I just left it. It wasn’t nearly as bad as some of the stitching that I’ve seen (the person who butchered the over one skin comes to mind).
I stitch in the same direction that Nancy does, so her’s is one RR I won’t have to turn on it’s side. I’ve had to turn them for so many now that I have it down. It definitely helps if you turn the symbols on the side too
I’m WAY paranoid about reading the symbols now. I triple check them before I start stitching because I don’t want to have to frog again. *rolls her eyes*
yes welll……
remember there is a reason why my block isn’t finished
sigh….
i read the arrow symbols the wrong way around when i turned the chart to do the x’s
we are both blonde..
i think that lets us off the hook slightly…..
