For the last few weeks I’ve had this cough that refused to let me lay down or recline or do anything save for be completely vertical. Needless to say, I ended up in la-la land from sleep deprivation. So, being totally loopy in the head, I went in search of my Curly-Tailed Rosie because she’s all fluffy and pink and went really well with all the other fluffy pink things that were keeping me company. Well, there’s definitely something about Rosie because I went on a stitching frenzy! I added well over 1,000 stitches to her more than doubling what was already done and best of all, I’m feeling much better and able to sleep in my bed again like a normal person! *does the Snoopy happy dance* So without further ado, heeeeeeerrrrreeeee’s Rosie!

For those of you who saw my WIP post of “Be Err,” here is the finished product. It’s “Be Merry” from Shepherd’s Bush and was for Jenni for our 2007 Ornament Exchange. The chart calls for 10 count Tula but I opted for over 2 on 28 count Cashel. There are nine, count ‘em, N-I-N-E charms on this bugger. That’s the highest density of charms I’ve ever done! Santa’s beard is stitched with alpaca. It feels nice. It looks nice. It wasn’t nice to stitch with. Only if I like you gobs and gobs will I stitch with alpaca for you. It’s a fraying, separating, shredding, cat-attracting beast! Not to mention it’s impossible for an anal-retentive chick like me to get all of my stitches to look the same with the stuff. But… it is a beard afterall, and it’s soft and looks like a jolly ol’ beard. So I’ll stop going on about it.

I’m a’gonna go put Rosie away for a bit before she steals away the rest of the month!
